Welcome on board with Sail Experience Fuerteventura! We invite you to spend fun time with captain Julian and his crew cruising in crystalline waters of the natural park Lobos Island. Families will enjoy trelaxing sea time with snorkeling, kayak and SUP. While skilled sailors can be guided on improving their sailing skills by Julian. Group of friends can enjoy fun atmosphere, with music, beverages and mini-lunch, with lot of fun playing in the water.
15 min - We meet in the Port of Corralejo, board the sailboat and start the journey to Isla de Lobos.
4 hr - Sailing trip navigating in the vicinity of the Lobos Island, where we will see the Caldera Volcano, the Bocaina Canal, the Great Dunes Natural Park (panoramic view of Fuerteventura from the boat). We will anchor in the south of Lobos ... enjoy fun time bathing, snorkling, having light lunch with beverages. Everyone has opportunity to try a stand-up paddle board, kayak, snorkel and fins to enjoy the transparent waters of Fuerteventura.
La Bocayna or La Bocaina is a five kilometer long stretch of sea that separates the islands of Lanzarote from Fuerteventura, mediating the volcanic island of Lobos. The depth of this Bocaina channel does not exceed 10 meters. On clear days, both islands can be seen with the naked eye. The strait offers the perfect conditions for boating and world-class surfable waves can be found around the coast of Lobos. The island of Lobos is a small rock formation of about 6 km2, with a maximum height of 127 meters to the top of the Caldera volcano. It is located in this strait of La Bocaina.
The Calderón Hondo Volcano is one of the best preserved and has a crater 70 meters deep. Its landscape is observed in the most beautiful way from the sea.
The Great Dunes National Park: This coastal area, 2.5 by 10.5 kilometers, is located in the northeast of the island and has two contrasting but harmonious sides. In the north, next to Corralejo, is the largest dune extension of all the Canary Islands; a huge expanse of white sands lapped by the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. To the south, the opposite awaits: a volcanic, red and ocher landscape, dramatic and rugged.

Incredible experience and very accommodating hosts. Our 7 year old was a little nervous to begin with so the captain took her hand and carried her up to the bow and got her to dangle her legs over the edge. Then she was getting splashed by the rise and fall of the boat and loved it. From there on in it was incredible! Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions including info on the best spots to surf around Lobos. Crystal clear waters great for jumping off the boat and snorkelling! Amazing lunch and a genuinely fantastic day! Very highly recommended!
Extremely friendly crew and captain. We had a great time! we felt at ease during the whole trip. they showed us the island of Lobos with some background information about the island and its history. After this we went swimming/snorkling/SUP/kayakking, which was really fun! the lunch was also very good with sandwiches and snacks. I would reccomend this trip to anybody !
A must try!! We were happy and high on the experience when we arrived back in Corralejo after 4 hours of sailing and swimming. The trip included good stories on Isla de Lobos, talks on the winds and animallife of Fuerteventura, wonderful swimming in the beautiful clear blue water and a nice lunch. Julien was an excellent captain and Matteo helped and made sure we had all we needed. We thank them and recommend the ship Walhalla and its crew to everyone!!
The boat trip was amazing, Julian and Mariana were friendly and great hosts who made us feel so welcome and made the experience very fun! Great food and drinks, the boat was spacious and clean. We had so much fun!
Really relaxing & interactive experience. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome & comfortable on board. The crew were engaging & nothing was too much trouble. Lunch was perfect onboard after snorkelling crystal clear waters off Los Lobos. On the return the wind picked up & enabled all onboard to experience the joy of sailing & even an opportunity to take the wheel. Great experience shared with a small group which makes it all the more intimate & personal.
