The Protest Surfschool, based in the island’s surf capital Corralejo, offers all you need to boost your surfing to the next level. We are a motivated, friendly and surf crazy team running a fantastic surf school for all levels and ages. We offer smaller groups of max 6 students per instructor, adding to a more personal touch and more attention on each student. Everyone can join, a 100% beginner wanting to learn how to surf and have more understanding of how the waves work, to an already intermediate surfer wishing to improve his/hers surfing skills.

Followed 5 days.a class. 4 different instructors. Each of them were excellent.
Also the service from the surfschool was very good. There was a 'thing' with the booking, they fixed it for us.

We had eight amazing surflessons at Protest Surfschool. All of the lessons were with a maximum of six surfers and one (or sometimes two) very enthousiastic and experienced instructors. Even though we had different instructors throughout the weeks, the instructors remembered us, knew our names and knew our wetsuit sizes and surfboard sizes. We learned a lot about the ocean, the surfing technique and the materials and we definitely had a lot of fun!!! We were picked up and dropped of at our accommodation before and after the lessons which made the lessons very relaxed. When we are in Corralejo again, we will definitely come back!!!

Very nice surf lesson for half a day. We received some basic course to help us surf. After that we got some private time with the instructor as the group was only 6 persons. I recommend this for beginners like us. P.S. don't drink to much the day before

Enthusiasm on waves

My husband and my 9 year old son took a taster course during our Christmas holiday. they are absolute beginners. It was sensational! The trainer, Ben, did a fantastic job of introducing them to the world of wave riding. Incredibly friendly and competent!!! They are now so enthusiastic that they want to take a full week course next Christmas. Hopefully Ben will still be there together - with his sweet dog Luna. Highly reccomended!!!
